On November 14, 1995 the Waiting To Exhale soundtrack (for the film of the same name) was released by Arista Records. Written and produced by Babyface, the soundtrack features performances by several female artists including Whitney, Toni Braxton, Brandy, Chaka Khan, Faith Evans and Mary J. Blige. It had two #1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 — “Exhale (Shoop Shoop)” and “Let It Flow.” The enormously successful album received a total of 11 GRAMMY nominations and won for Best R&B Song for “Exhale (Shoop Shoop).”
